Students learn how to brainstorm and come to consensus and have friendly conversation around often controversial subjects. Both of these project expand the skills of the students and make them more employable and top candidates for scholarships. Now lets talk about scholarships - PTK members have an opportunity for millions of dollars in scholarships. Advisors help students with applications and review essays. PTK is an international honor society and students have opportunities to meet other PTK members from all over the world. They learn networking skills and meet people that become lifelong friends. Being a PTK advisor is one of the most rewarding experiences of my career.
