Pathways Behavioral Consulting, LLC is dedicated to providing quality services to enhance the education and lives of individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Based in Atlanta, Pathways provides services throughout the state of Georgia and southeast region. Through systematic instruction and behavioral programming based on applied behavior analysis (ABA), plans are tailored to each individual’s unique needs maximizing growth in developmental gains and acquiring new skills. Skills are taught so the individual can increase performance and independence across school, home, and community settings. * Directly support and provide guidance to schools on special education policies, procedures and compliance regarding IDEA, federal and state laws and regulations * Support case managers, lead teachers, administrators, and support staff with proceedings of the identification, referral process, initial eligibility and re-evaluation determinations for students * Provide district wide and school based professional development in the areas of IDEA, LRE/Inclusion, Co-teaching, instruction, Autism, IEP development, Instructional Programming, and Behavior Management * Collaborate with teams and parent to support the development and implementation of meaningful IEPs to enhance an individual student’s educational opportunities * Serve as a liaison for parents, administrators, schools, and various stakeholders regarding the provisions and implementation of IDEA, LRE and services for students with disabilities * Serve as the Autism Coordinator for Atlanta Public Schools * Collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance educational programming for students with autism spectrum disorder and related disorder * Coordinate professional development for teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff related to instruction, behavior, and programming * Collaborate with consultants regarding the provision of additional support for students receiving autism services * Identify programming needs of students receiving autism services, PreK-12, to maximize outcomes for students with autism spectrum disorder

* Manage and coordinate support and resources for preschool, elementary, and secondary enhanced autism services and low-incidence students for Fairfax County Public Schools, for over 110 schools and approximately 300 classrooms * Supervise a team of 34 individuals on the ABA team to include 18 ABA Coaches and 16 Central ABA Instructional Assistants providing ABA support resulting in improved educational outcomes for students with autism and related disorders * Maximize professional development opportunities for staff working with autism and related disorders to enhance instruction and behavior programming in the classroom * Collaborate with school teams, school based administration and central departments to forge support efforts for staff and students resulting in increased student achievement * Oversee the district’s development and implementation of curriculum and FBA/BIPs for students with autism and low-incidence disabilities, PreK-12

* Provided daily support to staff in preschool and elementary autism classes in behavior and curriculum programming * Trained teachers, instructional assistants, and service providers working with students with autism in applying principles of ABA and verbal behavior in the classroom * Developed and delivered county wide in-services and school based trainings in assessment, behavior intervention, and curriculum planning * Conducted Functional Behavior Assessments and developed Behavior Intervention Plans (FBA/BIP)* Fortify family and community partnerships with school district leading on-going monthly parent workshop series and supporting community outreach * Effectively manage daily operations to include program planning, transitions, behavior interventions, crisis management, staff assignments, and fiscal planning resulting in quality service delivery

* Served as model PAC classroom in FCPS (full day, ages 2-5 years) * Designed and implemented programs using ABA and VB methodology delivered in 1:1 and group setting formats, embedded discrete trial teaching across the day * Collaborated with team of Instructional Assistants and related services providers for quality service delivery

* Provided educational therapy services to infants and toddlers with special needs and their families in the natural environment through an early intervention program * Developed IFSP goals and objectives for child’s programming * Collaborated with service providers and therapists to meet child’s developmental needs

* Piloted a full day preschool special education program for the county * Served students with developmental disabilities (ages 2-6 years) requiring specialized instruction in a full day setting
