- Initiate a high volume of collection calls or contacts to clients regarding past due balances.- Respond to inbound calls from clients and/or assisting the Customer Service Department by responding to inbound calls during periods when call volumes are high.- Analyse status of accounts in order to create and execute an action plan toward appropriate collection or reconciliation activites.- Assume ownership of accounts within an assigned portfoio. Responsible for all aspects of debt resolution, account reconciliation including billing research, credit request submission and cash application analysis.- Interact with inter-departmental associates for the purpose of resolving outstanding issues.- Interpret and understand contract term in an effor to maximize collections.- Negotiate payment arrangements and perform payment reconciliation.
