Life’s Short Lessons LLC was founded and created in response to an outpouring of emails and media requests, after a picture of my husband Scott went viral. How does something like "going viral" happen? We ask ourselves that same question everyday. It was unexpected and unintentional. Here's the reader's digest version...My husband Scott cut his jeans into short-shorts and went out on the town with his family to dinner and miniature golfing to show our daughter short-shorts aren't that cute. The attention and response received was overwhelming and unexpected. To our surprise we were inundated with phone calls and messages inviting us to be on the TODAY Show, Good Morning America, CNN, Rachael Ray and dozens more, along with radio shows and TV interviews across the nation, Canada and as far away as Australia. It was the story BEHIND the short-shorts that people around the world loved. It was the haunting comment that we heard over and over "I wish someone cared that much about me to do something like that!" It was comments like that, that inspired and motivated us to speak - no one should feel they are not loved, needed and valued. Audiences large and small invite us to come speak, teach, and train on subjects that build and strengthen relationships, self-confidence and create a thriving environment, ....And many encouraged us to write a book.
