I am an active member of RES's leadership team influencing and informing strategic direction and priorities.I lead the university's focus on quality research which includes the preparations for the REF submission. I oversee policy development, strategic approach and service provision in the areas of staff development; research output enhancement; impact generation & evidencing; data collection & analysis; and the continual development of an environment and culture that fosters the highest research quality and integrity.I am responsible for the development, review and continuous improvements of research policy, integrity and governance processes to ensure efficient and effective support for researchers. This includes oversight of the research ethical review process; clinical trial development and support; adherence to government and research funder policies; and the research contract team. Show less
