With a 30-year career in public relations and marketing, I've gained experience in television, CSU alumni affairs, fashion, and event planning while growing my consulting practice. Since 2002, I've successfully managed this practice, now rebranded as YOBECKO, Brand Cheerleaders & Storytellers. I spent eight years advising with Norcal SBDC before moving to the Central Coast. Additionally, I served on the Cuesta College Central Coast Writers Conference Advisory Board for six years, contributing to its recognition as the "Best in the West."In 2023, I joined the Women's Business Center and Cal Poly CIE SBDC as an advisor, specializing in marketing and public relations.I hold a degree in Journalism/Public Relations from Humboldt State University (now Cal Poly Humboldt) with minors in Business Administration and Studio Art.
