Partnered two Executives and their SLT to ensure effective financial management of budgets greater than £250m per annum and £5bn full programme. Secured funding for and managed the finances on the UKs largest office restructuring programme, working across multiple units BT wide and being a trusted advisor to the Group CFO. Created a 4-year plan to implement the strategy to move from 300+ office locations to c30 better workplaces for over 40k office-based employees.• Gained conceptual buy-in from the executive committee by producing a strategy paper for the Group CFO that demonstrated the need for change• Obtained business case approval to secure funding in excess of £400m to deliver the programme, including gaining commitment to required efficiencies in excess of £70m per annum • Designed and implemented full programme financial reporting and controls to ensure delivery of the programme ambition within budget• Led on the creation of the building level execution plan (co-creating with all units across BT due to operational impact) including building exits, acquisitions, refurbishments & temporary offices• Designed and implemented a role-by-role transition plan to: - - ensure the right roles were in the right locations to underpin efficient and effective working - inform forecasts of building occupancy vs capacity to enable proactive decisions / interventions to be made e.g. additional space, flexible working - inform recruitment and consultation volumes so that the specialist teams could build operational plans to support delivery - identify opportunities for redeployment and reskilling resulting in reduced leaver costs in addition to improving employee experience• Advised and supported on the implementation of programme KPIs to monitor delivery against plan and identify where interventions may be necessary

Provided analysis to assist the senior leadership team in understanding trends, key volume drivers and to help make informed decisions.• Streamlined the monthly reporting, forecasting and budgeting process• Determined the sales volume and contract value targets required to support the budget• Co-ordinated the allocation of targets across numerous sales channels ensuring the collective targets supported the LEM revenue target• Developed a new dashboard to give senior management visibility of all the individual sales channels performance Vs agreed targets in one place

Performed two key roles during this period. Firstly as finance business partner for the directory enquiries business leading on detailed bottom up builds of budgets/forecasts and being the lead finance resource for pricing papers, marketing investments and capital expenditure. Secondly as the financial controller for the overall Directories business including The Phonebook and Online business.Over this period profit grew from £6m to £65m and the business cost base shrunk by 30%.
