• Monitoring and evaluation consulting: Spearheaded evaluation of Amplio Talking Books global program and progress related to the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals. Worked with a small team to complete market evaluation of Splash programming in health care facilities in Ethiopia. • Communications and writing: Crafted communication pieces for a variety of clients and levels of management, including World Vision, Right to Play, the dZi Foundation, Amplio, and internal social enterprise projects,Learning Links. Topics spanned multiple sectors, including health, education, and monitoring and evaluation capacity building.• Interactive capacity building: Developed a monitoring and evaluation capacity building course for projects funded by the National Network of Medical Libraries, including specific focus on rural health programs, K-12 settings, and programs responsive to race and ethnicity, or LGBTQIA+ populations. Conceptualized, designed and built an online learning course to build the evaluation capacity of partner organizations.• Execution of Collaborative Projects: Completed a variety of fast-paced projects in collaboration with a team of highly experienced evaluation professionals. Projects have included theory-based evaluation of program, documentation and reporting, data visualization, innovative online capacity building, and data analysis.

Example projects include:• Bulamu: Currently designing a sustainable and useful monitoring system for Bulamu -supported healthcare facilities in Uganda. Developing technical communications documents to disseminate key programmatic areas of Bulamu.• Feet on the Ground: Designed a sustainable and comprehensive theory-based monitoring and evaluation system, in partnership with Feet on the Ground, a non-profit providing trauma-informed movement and yoga support and instruction in the US.

Kathmandu, Nepal

• Technical Writer and Communications: Authored seven technical strategies for all multi-sector thematic areas in the USAID-Funded Suaahara II program in Nepal, focusing on the improvement of nutrition through strengthened smallholder agricultural practices and multsectoral support. The deputy chief-of-party, and senior technical officer noted the quality of the strategies. • Data Analysis. Quantified community health volunteer involvement in the Suaahara II Program, and related it to their knowledge of health, nutrition, agriculture, and WASH behaviors: Results influenced targeted programming for community health workers and were presented at an international nutrition conference in Nepal.• In country support: Spent extensive time in Nepal providing needed support for the Suaahara II program, including site visits and data collection in remote areas.

Kathmandu, Nepal

 Facilitated in-country monitoring and evaluation support to the Suaahara II program, including field site visits, data analysis and cleaning, and documentation.  Documented the complex monitoring systems to provide an accurate record of study for future observation and publishing, included highlighting data flow from multiple monitoring tools, strengths of the program, and recommendations for improvement. Information from the capstone has been used in a collaborative article, currently in the process of publication.

 Designed and implemented innovative training materials and training material upgrades for an industry leader in electronic health records. Noted weaknesses and incorrect information in a critical class designed for executives and management, and redesigned and overhauled the class, resulting in positive feedback for both internal and external partners.  Personally trained ~400 executives, training managers, and master trainers of Epic customers in best-practice training recommendations and Epic-designed tools during implementation, upgrade, and maintenance phases.  Orchestrated training programs for four major health systems in the United States during the install and implementation phases of the software.

 Executed at a level of quality all required and necessary duties for medical assistants at an award-winning pediatric practice, such as laboratory testing, vaccinations, measurement and recording of vital statistics, growth monitoring, basic medical procedures, and acting as a patient liaison.  Described as the “most productive person ever,” by a direct supervisor in an annual review, and given special recognition by the owners of the practice for high-quality work and dedication.  Searched out leadership opportunities such as vaccination clinics, modernizing health record management, and communications campaigns.
