Hello! I am currently the media archivist managing digital stills for the Paramount Pictures Archives. In this position I mainly work with digital assets, but I also work with analog film stills as well. Working with digital assets I am a liaison between the production, post production, and archive departments. I have past experience with special collections, rare book libraries, archives, entertainment studio libraries, academic libraries, photo archives, and museums. I am passionate about archives and digital assets, and providing access to previously hidden materials. Also, I am interested in the intersection between technology and traditional archives. I am an MLIS graduate of the UCLA GSEIS department and I also hold an MA in Shakespeare, Stratford-upon-Avon and the Cultural History of Renaissance England from the University of Birmingham, UK's Shakespeare Institute.Specialties: Digital asset management, metadata, taxonomy creation, content management systems, photo preservation, processing and describing collections, research, and cataloging.Software: Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, ContentDM, Mac and PC Proficient.CMS Systems: Proprietary DAMs, ArchivesSpace, Archivist Toolkit, Voyager, Millenium, Mimsy, and Horizon.Cataloging Standards: DACS, VRA Core, Dublin Core, EAD, METS, MODS, RDA, AACR2r, DCRM(b), MARC21, LC and Dewey classification and experience with AAT, LCSH, and RBMS vocabularies.
