Seamlessly work within interdisciplinary team by playing integral role in collaborative synthesis of research study, resulting in impactful knowledge dissemination. Use R to compute descriptive and statistical analysis and develop visualizations to support a research study conducted at Lankenau Medical Center’s Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit. Develop additional figures and tables including flowcharts to support the evaluation. Write the results of the study and collaborate with other researchers to prepare the paper for publication.

Trained end-users on this software once purchased. Evaluated and analyzed weight trends and nutritional intake to inform interventions to improve or maintain nutritional status. Participated in interdisciplinary care meetings with patients and families.

Acute care clinical dietitian position providing medical nutrition therapy to all nursing units, primarily the neurological and telemetry units. Provided in-service training for nursing staff. Participated in interdisciplinary rounds. Provided staff relief for the Certified Diabetes Educators, educating patients on lifestyle modifications to manage diabetes including diet and medications. Instructed patients on how to use glucometers and self-administer insulin injections. Led weekly nutrition classes at outpatient psychiatry program and provided individual counseling as well. Precepted one intern annually.

Provided medical nutrition therapy to all hospital units. Per diem experience, primarily provided dietitian coverage on weekends.

Provided medical nutrition therapy services for five subacute rehab and skilled nursing facilities across Oregon. Oversaw food service production activities at each facility. Precepted food service management for Certified Dietary Manager exam. Led monthly interdisciplinary nutrition meetings at each facility. Completed a dietetic internship to gain experience in all aspects of dietetics. Sites include Grand View Hospital, Sodexo at Bethlehem Area School District, Pocono Medical Center, Bethlehem Health Bureau, St. Luke's Bariatric Center and Advantage Nutrition and Wellness.Major projects completed include: Healthy Corner Store Initiative Cooking Demonstrations, creating and implementing a Fitbit based employee wellness program, creating and implementing an employee wellness program specifically targeted to 911 operators where I provide nutrition counseling to employees through email, creating education materials for bariatric surgery patients.Additional experiences include: guest lecturing in high school health classes, cooking demonstrations at the Bethlehem Senior Center, as well as nutrition counseling at free clinics, for employees, and in acute care.
