A collaborator and convener, I situate myself at the crossroads of research, communication and storytelling. Presently immersing myself within applied agricultural research while embracing a life more directly connected to our land and producers.My deepest focal areas include:• agroecology and sustainable practices, with a distinct interest in agroforestry• support for small/beginning/BIPOC farmers and rural communities• the farm-to-institution movement• Asian American representation and advocacy• the preservation of traditional foodways, land stewardship and animal husbandry• local, national and international Fibershed initiativesI pivoted into the agricultural sector from the arts and film industries where I specialized in production design and fabrication, children's educational media, stop-motion animation and extra curricular education across a broad range of ages, demographics and neurodiverse populations.In tandem with my continued venture into agriculture, building community and remaining true to my roots, I am also a member of our local Fibershed chapter - a network of fiber farmers, spinners and artisans sharing resources, knowledge and craft.
