Building upon existing- and developing new communication approaches for Better Cotton’s U.S. field program and increasing its visibility within the country. Implementing strategies regarding target audience, media relations and tracking, development of collateral material, overall communications activity schedule for the U.S. and activity reporting.Collaborating with the global Communications team and supporting global communication efforts at Better Cotton by way of aligning priorities, promoting mutual learning and identifying opportunities to increase efficiency and effectiveness.Supporting with outreach efforts for the U.S. Program, including field tours, Partner meetings, trainings, workshops and coordination of stakeholder feedback groups and advisory committee meetings.

Participating in research, data collection and evaluation, propagation techniques, rootstock trials and phenological tracking of tree-fruit cultivars through the Rutgers Cooperative Extension network and at the Snyder research farm.- Gathering and assessing kernel data from various hazelnut cultivars- Biochemical testing of apples for maturity data- Meeting with growers throughout Central NJ to gather apple samples for testing- Successfully performing numerous grafts of cider apple cultivars via topworking- Grafting peach trees with beach plum semi-hardwood scions for ongoing propagation studies- Collecting phenological data on spotted lanternfly throughout NJ farms and vineyards- Assessing soil and plant tissue reports; making informed recommendations on nutrient inputs for optimal soil fertility - Tracking bud growth progression and signs of gall, scab, frost and insect damage- Creating and updating data sheets and orchard maps- Additional observation and maintenance among yacón, strawberries, hazelnuts, barley, tomatoes, perennials

Working with New Jersey youths honing in on their entrepreneurial skills. Facilitating their navigation through the farm-to-table movement while mapping out business plans, marketing techniques and approaches to community engagement as they host- and profit from their own farm stand sourced with local produce. Sponsored by the Northeast Organic Farming Association (NOFA), Good Success Academies and Montclair Community Farms partner up for a third year of their Project Life Entrepreneurial Program.

Acted as liaison among program managers, partners and sponsors by introducing and amplifying Farmers Market Coalition (FMC) initiatives, and disseminating project and policy details to stakeholders and the general public. Managed communications materials including press releases, newsletters, e-blasts and curated content across social media platforms to increase awareness of FMC activities, broaden its network and improve engagement across platforms.

Specialized in design and fabrication work across film, TV, theatre, events, retail displays and commissions. Collaborated with a spectrum of large brands and smaller independent companies. Facilitated CEI's "Benchmarks: Youth Setting the Standard for Social Change" program wherein students came together to take social action, researching pressing topics and developing effective means of capturing the public’s attention with their stance on these issues. Select groups from each participating public school created a collaborative mural on a designated public bench illustrating their message of social injustices and change. The culminating event resulted in public displays of their work as part of a citywide exhibition. Held additional residencies through Brooklyn Arts Council and others, implementing skills and developing curricula for students trying their hands at all aspects of visual and performing arts. Emphasized arts and culture alongside academics, providing means for students to express themselves, and celebrate both individuality and collaboration in working toward shared goals.

Designed, fabricated and sourced material for numerous characters, props and scenic elements for Jim Henson collaborations in TV/children's educational media, video and live events. Clients included Coca-Cola, Sesame Street and Microsoft.Detailed characters and props for No Strings International's production of educational films for children in Syria and Haiti, touching upon trauma relief and peace building. Worked in collaboration with former/current Jim Henson Co. designers, fabricators and performers.
