I established Australian Partners of Defence (APOD) in 2012. As an Australian Defence Force (ADF) spouse, I saw the need for veteran families to find and securely access meaningful benefits from businesses that recognise their service in a variety of different ways. In 2019, APOD became the Department of Veterans’ Affairs official partner, making APOD available to all Veteran Card holders and their spouse as part of the Australian Defence Veterans’ Covenant. We also proudly support veterans’ employment, veteran business owners and entrepreneurs.Having started my career working for Westfield, I have a proven track record of working with businesses of all types and sizes. My specialties include building strategic partnerships with organisations worldwide and brokering exclusive benefits and offers for the Australian Defence Force and veteran community.My day job doesn’t entirely convey my skills, interests and experience. I also have experience in coaching, mentoring, business start-ups, finance, marketing, design and website development (having taught myself HTML). I am a passionate advocate for defence families after being a military wife for 13 years and relocating to 5 different locations (4 states) in that time!
