• Manages operational processes of MainOne across board, this involves the timely restoration of customer’s service outages, KPI & SLA Contractual agreement follow up, Process definition for transmission team, reports generation for network health check, software upgrade and L2 report interface support for issues relating to SDH, DWDM, Ethernet Over SDH, GPON, Carrier Ethernet, NMS, Power and inter-vendor integration of interfacing facilities • Resources mentoring especially for Transmission and Field support Engineers.• Effective operational management of all Stake holders/Clients within MainOne Networks • Coordinating Transmission technical support and liaising with GNOC (Global Network Operation Center) on escalated issues involving Last mile outages and support.• Performance review of individual team members and appraisals completion in accordance with the employee performance appraisal procedures and time schedules.• Prepare Methods of Procedure (MOPS) detailed engineering documentation, work orders as required.
