I love ideas. They could be new ideas, tried and tested ideas, or a new twist on old ideas. Without doubt, ideas add to our lives by improving us, our workplaces and our community. Currently, the ideas that most interest me relate to:1. How to develop high performing work teams by building trust and psychological safety2. How to assist managers develop the skills to more clearly communicate business needs and decisions to employees 3. Evidence-based management and organisational decision-making 4. Interpersonal relationships and Incivility in the workplace, and how to address inappropriate behaviour in the workplaceAs a senior employment and industrial lawyer, I am lucky enough to be able to consider these issues as part of my day to day work. I work hard to help my clients grapple with these issues, and many more.In my spare time, I have been working to bring A-League football to the Canberra & Capital Region through the Capital Region Football Collective. I want to help football clubs harness new ideas about social movements for mobilising and organising their communities to generate deep engagement and the growth of the game.
