I approached the task focussing on three main areas:• Market expansion, and much more direct end explicit focus on sales effort and methods• An organisational modification and reduction in both Denmark and Asia• Generally imposing the entire organisation with a stronger commercial mindsetWe succeeded with a positive 2021-result of 5,4 mill. DKK (EBIT), the best result in 5 years. In 2022 we are continuing along the same path with a positive result.Furthermore, we have expanded our animation business by establishing a brand-new office in Mumbai, India with 150 seats. My focus and initiatives were two-folded:• Expand our German market based on a huge potential demand for e-papers in a German newspaper business that were far behind the Scandinavian digital development.• Generally, transform the whole company to focus more directly on our recurrent revenue. Visiolink’s product line is very well suited for long-term recurrent partnerships, and the financial impact of a higher recurrent ratio is very strong.After an intense focus on increasing market shares, growing sales, and at the same time optimising our project profitability and efficiency, we successfully prepared for equity group Vitec Software Group to acquire Visiolink in 2020.
