I am a Life Skills Coach in the Pride Program of Valley Youth House where I provide mentorship, case management and advocacy services to LGBTQIA+ young adults who are struggling with housing security. Prior to this role, I was a Support Services Caseworker at the Attic Youth Center, a non-profit that creates programming, case management and therapeutic services for LGBTQIA+ youth in Philadelphia. I have also recently worked as a Soccer Coach for pre-school aged youth at Soccer Shots Philadelphia and was a tutor and support specialist at CB community school in Roxborough, funded by One to One learning - another non-profit looking to close the opportunity gap in public schools. I have experience with youth empowerment + mentorship - especially within the lens of healing-informed care, special education and storytelling as a means of connection. I also have strength and interests in social justice and advocacy work, LGBTQIA+ healthcare, anti-racism, fitness and movement, teaching and coaching team sports, creative writing, journalism and bibliotherapy. Most of all, I believe that through the lens of joy and hope we can reach new beginnings together.
