Six-Time Published Author, "Ms. J" is best known for her creatively audacious approach as a multidisciplinary artist. She won awards for her interpersonal expressions through poetry and prose as early as first grade when her elementary poem was featured in her local newspaper and went on to win awards and multiple publication features throughout her middle - high school daze, building the foundations of her literary career.After attending the prestigious Spelman College in Atlanta, Ga. she emerged as an internationally published author in 2012, releasing her first book "The One in the Pocket: Break Free from the Love Habits You're Stuck and Unlock the Relationships You Deserve" aimed to be a personal workbook for her media celebrated workshop 'Truth Hurts, Women in Relationships'. There she took flight as a Women's Coach and prolific empowerment speaker.J has been featured as Award Winning Speaker for state and regional events; recognized as an impactful philanthropist, received awards for her civic leadership, as well as being the first Black Women-Led Founder / Organization to be granted proclamation in San Joaquin County California for Women's Equality Day.Yeilding to none, she wrote, produced, and toured two original stage plays, and imparted her poetic expressions at countless events throughout the U.S. J often admits she's superseded even her expectations as a multidisciplinary artist.As the world shifted to endure a pandemic, J began to work with individuals to assist them with publishing their written works and founded her exclusive publishing cohort developing a curriculum for aspiring authors nourished by her personal experiences.With a growing library of books, poetry, and other narratives, as a Multidisciplinary Author, J's mission is to continue to educate, empower, and emphasize literacy and a deeper appreciation for one's interpersonal expressions through creative writing cross-generational and cultural- from conception to birth, she dedicates her knowledge, wisdom, and talents to assist dreamers to deliver!
