During my time at HTC, I have been responsible for managing all aspects of our technology systems, including working closely with the leadership team to align organization objectives and technology strategy, constantly reviewing and streamlining operational processes, being the primary infrastructure and network manager (managing Mac, Linux and Windows servers and Cisco network infrastructure), as well as being a senior developer of our comprehensive FileMaker system, which impacts all areas of our 130 person organization. As part of this diverse experience I have been responsible for: upgrading and maintaining our technical infrastructure through virtualization, cloud integration, best-practice adoption, network and communications management (LAN and WAN), cybersecurity implementation, managing the IT support department, and driving ongoing development and of our FileMaker system. As a non-profit, paid for by our members, my focus has always been to provide the greatest value for our IT expenditure. This involves use creative use of open source applications to empower our staff, automation of critical processes and systems monitoring, research and integration of external many products to enhance staff productivity. From an application development standpoint, our FileMaker system is central to the running of the organization. This includes fast deployment of often novel solutions to address a very specific need of the organization, in timeframes measured in hours or days, rather than weeks or months.

At Mediactive, I am responsible for managing the development of FileMaker-based systems for event registration and access. This includes project meetings with clients and on-site support at conferences and expos.

As the Founder and CEO of Techknowledgy Group (Formerly InfoLearn Internet Services), I created the business at the beginning of the Internet era to help people connect and understand how to use it.
