The third major, IT for businesses, was added due to a Professor leaving the University.George's passion for exploration and global experiences led to a career spanning over 12 years in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. During his academic pursuits, George undertook internships in Australia and the United States, broadening his horizons and gaining international exposure.With a solid foundation in his field, George embarked on a remarkable 12.5-year tenure at Philips Lighting. He held diverse roles in this renowned multinational corporation across five different positions and countries. His dedication and expertise led to an invitation to become a Managing Director and board member for a Dutch company, a role he fulfilled for three years with exceptional success.Following a sabbatical in Australia, George boldly decided to venture into entrepreneurship in 2002. By 2006, he had evolved into an esteemed Executive Coach, with a significant part of his expertise from co-founding the European Leadership Platform in 2003 and acquiring valuable training as a moderator.George has also authored books aimed at ESTIEM students, emphasising the importance of self-awareness and planning for the future after completing their Master's degree.
