Act as the Liaison Officer to provide the US Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School (USAJFKSWCS) and the Military Information Support Operations Command's (MISOC) commander or staff with knowledge of USACAPOC's (A) needs or requirements. Responsible to rapidly clarify questions about USACAPOC (A) that supports the CG's agenda and initiatives. Facilitate communication and coordination between the USAJFKSWCS/ MISOC staff with USACAPOC (A) staff. Advise USACAPOC (A) Staff, CofS, DCG and CG on issues, problems that arise at the USAJFKSWCS/ MISOC. Facilitate the transition of Reserve Forces PSYOP from USACAPOC(A) to MISOC.

Commander for a 95 Soldier, Headquarters Support Company for a PSYOP Battalion with world-wide deployability. Directly responsible for all aspects of readiness (including ITRS, IWRS,USR, DMOSQ, MEDPROS, CSDP, Recruiting, and Retention), operations (including planning, mobilization, and deployment), and training (including training management, ATTRS, OES/NCOES, and Company Yearly Training Calendar). Coordinates with other direct reporting PSYOP senior leaders (including SSA and Executive Officer) to accomplish all routine and required missions to operate and sustain PSYOP force as well as taskings/missions of the Battalion Commander and his higher headquarters.

Senior staff officer (AGR) responsible for all training and operations of a US Army tactical Psychological Operations Battalion (POB). Supervises and plans the development and execution of PSYOP annexes, appendixes, OPORDs, OPLANs and SOPs. Produces and plans support for Joint Task Force ODT, CTC exercises, and JCS exercises. Lead planner for battalion-level training exercises. Responsible for continuous PSYOP staff coordination with higher headquarters and Regional Combatant Command PSYOP planners. Supervises the S3 section planning team, consisting of nine 37F MOS Soldiers. Exercises staff supervision over training management, budget, travel orders, school quotas, the ODT program, RLAS transactions, training ammunition, duty orders, and the battalion language program.

Supervises the Company staff in execution of all PSYOP tactical and operational tasks. Coordinates staff actions to ensure maximum performance of the Company mission and priorities in support of CJTF-82. Works with the Company Supply NCO and oversees the Company Supply Command Discipline Program to ensure success. Assigns responsibilities and conveys the Commander’s decisions to the Company staff as well as the PSYOP Detachments with the Company First Sergeant. Utilizes the staff to prepare detailed plans, orders, reports and actions in order to support the Commander’s intent. Reviews all staff actions and ensures that they produce results based on the Commander’s guidance. Responsible for the Company after action review and the Company mobilization and de-mobilization process.

Intelligence Watch Officer for a Joint Interagency Task Force; targets narco-traffickers, weapons traffickers and narco-terrorists in the USSOUTHCOM joint area of responsibility; equivalent to an Army Corps Intelligence Battle Captain. Supervises a watch team comprised of military, DoD, interagency and contract personnel. Responsible for collecting, fusing and disseminating all-source intelligence from law enforcement and DoD agencies to support operational and tactical-level counternarcotics planning. Provides assessments and advice to the Command Duty Officer to direct air, land and sea tactical asset allocation against a highly mobile, adaptive and elusive target set. Coordinates with Joint Interagency Task Force South intelligence analysts in the air, land, maritime, geospatial and tactical SIGINT sections.

Counterintelligence Officer and Senior Reports Officer for Combined Forces Special Operations Component Command (CFSOCC), J2X, the wartime Headquarters for the Special Operations Command Central (SOCCENT). Responsible for oversight and quality control of intelligence information reports that are generated from CI, HUMINT, and Special Operations Forces personnel conducting operations in the USCENTCOM AOR. Responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of HUMINT derived information into Draft Intelligence Information Reports (DIIR) published within combat theaters of operation as well as publishing Intelligence and Information Reports (IRR) nationally in support of the War on Terror. Responsible for coordinating the command debriefing program and providing intelligence support to SOCCENT/CFSOCC force protection.

S2 Intelligence Officer of a Tactical PSYOP Battalion (-) functioning as a Corps level PSYOP Support Element (PSE). Responsible for determining and leading the intelligence and PSYOP targeting tasks of two enlisted soldiers in their combined efforts to collect, collate, and assess PSYOP related intelligence from all available sources. Developed intelligence products to support the situational awareness, targeting and effects assessment efforts of psychological operations at the strategic, operational and tactical levels. Develops and monitors commander’s PSYOP priority intelligence requirements and handles all SSO unit requirements for battalion, companies, and separate PSEs as required. Serves as unit movement and hazardous material certification officer.

Primary staff officer responsible for intelligence and security management of a tactical psychological operations battalion in support of V Corps, the U.S. Army Special Operations Command (Airborne), and other special operations/ conventional forces for global contingencies. Duties include: prepare and supervise security and intelligence operations with higher headquarters to ensure commander’s intent is met; perform MDMP to ensure coordination with staff operations; advise component company commanders on intelligence and security operations; provide security and intelligence technical support to component company commanders and/ or deployed elements, as required.
