In my role as Communications Officer for the ETF - a job that acts as equal parts social media manager, copywriter, digital content creator and press officer - I covered communications for the Land Transport Department (Rail, Road, Public Transport and Platform Work) as well as gender equality issues, logistics and horizontal topics such as sustainable transport, trade union issues and the digitalisation and automation of transport.In this position, I had:- Shared responsibility for the creation and execution of the communications strategy- Managed and created content for social media channels: Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. Doubled social media following across all channels.- Designed and produced written, visual and video content- Managed the implementation of a new visual identity - Oversaw the ETF website: publishing content, and updates- Responsibility for the design and distribution of MailChimp online monthly newsletter to update members on ETF's activities - Developed a social media strategy to increase awareness of ETF's positions and activities- Drafted press releases and handled media requests- Oversaw communications for events. I successfully handled communications for the ETF Congress, which gathered around 500 members in Budapest- Oversaw the graphic design work for EU-funded and internal projects with external companies
