This choice is one that is often based on values and personal rapport.A 501c3, Seed of Hope was founded to provide professional counseling to individuals and families in need, who either did not have insurance coverage, or, whose insurance would not allow them to go out of network to work with a therapist they trusted. Through the volunteer effort of a Board of Directors, from November 2000, through 2010, Seed of Hope raised nearly $500,000.Funding sources came from individuals in Minnesota and from foundations, such as the Park Nicollet Foundation, The Oswald Family Foundation, and others.
