I am an experienced executive in industry, consulting and early stage ventures, with a passion for driving change and building teams and businesses. I am a Partner in Metyis, a global firm building e-commerce, marketing and data / analytics & AI solutions. Previously, I was in an Executive Board position at William Grant and Sons driving strategy, digital and transformation. Prior to that, one half of my career has been in strategy consulting where I led the Consumer and Retail Practices as well as the Digital Practice in EMEA for Booz, then PWC consulting, and in North America for BCGDV. The other half of my career is start-ups, foundries, and Venture Capital. I have been a co-founder several times in consumer, green energy, and managed services. I am a Partner with Antler, a global founder's factory. And for 4 years I ran BCGDV in North America where we built start-ups for corporates, building over 100 businesses in that period globally. My industry experience is primarily in Consumer and Retail as well as Healthcare, focused on the consumer intersection. I have covered the full agricultural value chain including food and beverages, alcoholic beverages and spirits, fashion and luxury goods, consumer electronics, and consumer health (OTC, devices, and pharma). Functionally I primarily cover digital, strategy, operating model design and large-scale transformation, M&A, and commercial functional issues. I have a particular focus on innovation including early-stage - both internally and externally sourced - combining my backgrounds in strategy, M&A, and venturing to bring insights both to large scale companies as well as startups. Disruption and change, often driven by technology or digital advancements has been a recurring theme across my career. I also have extensive management experience in the professional services space, having led or been on the leadership teams of several multi-billion-dollar P&Ls, often leading during a period of change or disruption (for example integrating Booz with PWC consulting, or DV and BCGs consulting business). I also have long experience as an advisory and supervisory board member of businesses from the scale of start-ups to FTSE 50 sized corporates.
