- Undertake practical research in the fields of computer vision and machine learning and design innovative tools aimed at enhancing the accuracy and runtime performance of AI systems.- Collaborate closely with product managers, product specialists, software engineers, and transportation engineers to define the design specifications, software features, and user interface of products.- Analyse business processes and aid in the creation of software requirements to align with stakeholder goals and devise road maps.- Remain current on emerging technologies and methodologies related to computer vision, machine learning, agile software development and deep learning to provide relevant recommendations as needed.- Evaluate and estimate proposed projects to ascertain their feasibility and establish development plans.- Engage in collaborative efforts with other stakeholders and maintain mutual accountability to accomplish the project's vision.- Offer technical insights for defining, designing, executing, testing, deploying, and maintaining computer vision solutions either in real-time or on the cloud.- Develop plans, determine scope, and coordinate the deployment, integration, and operation of computer-vision-based systems for various products.- Lead the development of tools for performance bench-marking, workflows for performance testing, and integration with product delivery to ensure the quality of service throughout the life cycle of products and services.- Train, test, build, and deploy deep learning models aimed at detecting various objects, particularly road users within the context of traffic videos.- Assess, diagnose, document, upgrade, profile, and maintain company’s code-bases.- Perform experimentation, and determine specification of hardware requirements necessary for accelerated computing, both in the cloud computing platform and on embedded devices.- Prepare technical reports, documentation, project proposals, technical blog posts, and SR&ED reports.
