I began my professional journey as a civil engineer after earning my Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Driven by my passion for structural design, I pursued further education at the Polytechnic University of Tehran (Amirkabir University) in Earthquake Engineering, specializing in earthquake-resilient structures. I graduated as the top student in 2017, which qualified me for direct entry into a PhD program; however, I chose to explore other avenues.My interest in earthquakes lies in their inherent uncertainty; understanding their behavior requires a strong grasp of probability and data analysis. I find this complexity parallels the volatility of financial markets, where historical data serves as a crucial source of insight. Consequently, in 2016, I began educating myself about financial markets, marking the start of a significant career transition. Over the next five years, I studied a wide range of topics in finance, including micro and macroeconomics, financial analysis, risk management, portfolio management, quantitative analysis, etc.After several years of study, I transitioned my career from engineering to finance, leveraging my engineering background while embracing the endless opportunities for creativity within the financial sector. So I joined a Swiss-Iranian asset management firm in 2021. I initially served as a Business Analyst and was promoted to Portfolio Manager within a year. In this role, I led a team of analysts, striving for excellence in performance and client satisfaction. After two years, I recognized that pursuing an MBA would further strengthen my foundation in business analysis and team leadership.
