-Work with the faculty lead for simulation, faculty staff, to explore and implement a range of extended reality and other digital learning platforms to meet the academic requirement of clinical skills acquisition. -Providing learning technology support, investigating and resolving technical issues, and suggesting the use of appropriate solutions to deliver tailored learning, teaching, and assessment activities. -Design, develop, support, and maintain e-modules for simulated practice that meets blended learning pedagogy and meet regulatory standards. -Review data and evaluate the effectiveness of current digital teaching and learning content designed to support simulated practice learning with respect to student engagement and satisfaction, and congruence to learning objectives and make recommendations/improvements and inform governance. -Work with faculty in developing innovative teaching, learning, and assessment strategies using digital platforms to enhance student experience and engagement. -Work with academics to evaluate, develop, and embed extended reality into the pre-registration curriculum to support the faculty’s objective and simulation strategic vision. -Assist with ongoing and new research in clinical and human factor simulation. -Keep abreast of developments in techniques and technologies. -Promote awareness of the Faculty as a proactive user of learning technologies through association with professional networks.

-Develop the virtual reality simulation sessions with the simulation team and academic staff and support delivery of these.-Transform learning content and activities to an online learning narrative based on the Online Learning Plus pedagogical model.-Develop and create innovative and high-quality teaching and learning materials using a wide range of media applications to support the delivery of courses and modules within CNMH.-Support academic staff/module leaders to deliver and audit innovative teaching, learning and assessment strategies that enhance the student learning experience.-Provide expertise and work with the college’s learning designer in building the MSc Pre-registration Nursing virtual programme and provide clear direction/training to academic staff on editing and maintaining content in the future.-Gamification of learning material
