A young professional with a passion for counselling psychology and mental health. I graduated from Kabul University with a BA degree in Counseling Psychology. Since 2015, I've been active in the psychology field as a counsellor, trainer, supervisor, and mental health care provider. I am dedicated to the cause of mental health and intend to use my skills, experience, and education to help achieve the goal of more accessible and effective mental health care. I have first-hand experience of working with war and violence victims who struggled with mental health issues, which has given me invaluable skills in war and violence victim services and the ability to work with vulnerable individuals such as those with acute stress, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). I have developed strong research skills through my undergraduate and post-undergraduate studies, such as the ability to use programs such as SPSS for data analysis. I am hoping to work with like-minded individuals as we strive to make mental health care more accessible.
