    • Developed an advanced data retrieval and analysis system for CMIP 6, handling over 30PB of climate data.• Innovated an efficient parsing method to filter relevant datasets from a pool of over 13.6 million entries based on user queries.• Integrated LangChain and OpenAI infrastructure to create a dynamic analysis engine, tailored to user-specific dataset inquiries.• Submitted the project for presentation at the American Geophysical Union (AGU) 2024, the largest Earth and Space Science conference.• Designed a custom Streamlit-based UI to facilitate a conversational and intuitive user experience for data analysis tasks.
  • Robocoach
    Machine Learning Intern
    Robocoach May 2023 - Apr 2024
    San Diego, California, United States
    • Designed and implemented an open-source project that automatically generates code based on natural language conversation in Python.• Integrated LangChain and OpenAI APIs to prompt multiple LLMs to implement the code generation mechanism in the application.• Developed custom prompts to maximize the quality of model output and utilized regular expressions to extract code from plain text.• Created a logging pipeline for recording user-model interactions for performance evaluation.• Streamlined user experience by developing a web-based user interface that resembles a chat bot with Streamlit.
  • Amazon Global Robotics
    System Architecture Co-Op
Amazon Global Robotics Jul 2022 - Sep 2022
    North Reading, Massachusetts, United States
    • Designed test plans to gradually increase the complexity of tasks to match exit criteria for Proteus (Amazon’s first autonomous robot).• Wrote a series of Python scripts that utilized MySQL queries for an AWS database to automatically extract real-time data during testing.• Created a document to log all configurations during the testing of Proteus including SW, FW, HW, success rate, and map layout.• Initiated a cross-functional collaboration between the onboard SW team and data team to validate metrics and automate logging.
  • Existential Robotics Laboratory
    Undergraduate Research Assistant
Existential Robotics Laboratory Dec 2021 - Jul 2022
    San Diego, California, United States
    • Wrote unit tests, ROS nodes, and launch files in C++ to validate sensor readings and algorithm behaviors.• Coded ROS nodes that implemented path-finding algorithms such as Dijkstra’s, A*, and RRT* to work on an autonomous car in simulation.• Performed reliability analysis to maintain a fleet of 7 drones and root-caused any failure modes such as short-circuiting a motor winding.• Helped my lab increase the Thrust-to-weight ratio of drones from 1.9:1 to 5.6:1 resulting in an increase in stability and payload capacity.
  • Takeda
    Reliability Engineer
    Takeda Jun 2021 - Sep 2021
    Los Angeles, California, United States
During my internship at Takeda, I worked on a project aimed at transitioning the manufacturing facility from preventative maintenance to predictive maintenance. My specific role was to serve as the main point of contact for the vendor. This involved scheduling days that were mutually convenient for both the vendor and our manufacturing process, ensuring the installation of sensors.I maintained close communication with various departments to obtain approval for shutting down their processes, allowing the vendor to install the sensors. Additionally, I assisted in drafting a proposal to secure approval and funding for the installation of sensors in another building. My specific contributions to the proposal included demonstrating to stakeholders the existence of redundancies in the manufacturing plant, ensuring that the facility can continue to operate in case of unforeseen failures. I conducted a cost analysis, presenting the benefits of predictive maintenance to the stakeholders in the proposal.
  • Spacex
    Production Specialist
    Spacex Jul 2020 - Oct 2020
    Hawthorne, California, United States
    • Developed and optimized the manufacturing process of solenoid valves to accelerate production and increase quality.• Increased production volume by 114% (from 70 to 150 valves/day).• Introduced two new steps in the assembly process to decrease assembly time (grease plating/poppet).• Root caused two major waves of valve failures that led to approximately 60 valves failing per day (swage tool/retainer cap/poppet).• Generated a step-by-step corrective action document for technicians to rectify production losses due to test failures.
  • Nasa - National Aeronautics And Space Administration
Nasa Proposal Writing And Evaluation Experience (L'Space Academy)
Nasa - National Aeronautics And Space Administration May 2020 - Jul 2020
The objective of the NASA Proposal Writing and Evaluation Experience opportunity is to allow students to gain the experience of a mock proposal writing and review process. The NPWEE helps students learn to effectively write a concept proposal that turns innovative ideas into a reality. Gain experience in the process of writing and reviewing proposals with the help of a NASA reviewer.
  • Nasa - National Aeronautics And Space Administration
Nasa Community College Aerospace Scholar (Project Manager)
Nasa - National Aeronautics And Space Administration Jun 2019 - Sep 2019
    Marshall Space Flight Center
The NASA Community College Aerospace Scholars program is an educational experience for community college students interested in exploring careers in STEM fields. To be considered, I had to be selected to attend a rigorous 5-week online course where I learned about NASA's approach towards their upcoming missions and studied their aircrafts. After the course, I was selected to travel to MSFC and compete in a Mars rover competition.I was assigned to a group of 10 talented engineering students and tasked with the job of building a rover prototype that would have the ability to analyze minerals and retrieve other rovers and sample rocks. As a team, we conducted research to determine the most optimal methods for building our rover prototype. Building a viable arm that was in charge of collecting rovers and rock samples proved to be a laborious task; however, through much trial and error, we were able to successfully build the arm, ultimately leading to our victory. I was fortunate enough to see all aspects of the project, from research to software development to assembly, as I was elected to be the project manager. Participating in this NASA experience has reinforced my passion in researching various methods in hopes of creating the best possible outcome.
