My professional calling became obvious from my very first job: I am obsessed with productivity tools and workplace efficiency. My love for finance had led me to a Masters in Funds Management, and I went on to do another Masters in Information Systems. From that point on I committed myself to helping companies get the most out of their existing investments in ERP systems. Five years in, I saw myself lead the software solutions arm of the largest media company in Australia, Seven Media Group. Working closely with SMG executives, my team delivered 35 projects with millions of dollars in savings and revenue growth.After more than 12 prolific years in the corporate world, the timing was right to put all this experience into a software product and take it to the world. My business partner Tim and I had worked on many complex projects at SMG. Our diverse skills and experience were a perfect match to start working on an online productivity application - hence the birth of Avaza.Since the launch of Avaza I find myself working in multiple time zones, juggling between product and business development and making sure our customers are happy and looked after. Tim & I both enjoy travelling, working from cafes and an active lifestyle.We aim for Avaza to become the ultimate productivity tool for professional service businesses. We plan to achieve this by ensuring customer satisfaction, continual improvement of existing features and introducing disruptive time saving new features.
