As an Architectural Technologist, I work with clients on their Building Regulations Packages to achieve building control compliance RIBA stages 4-5.I am specialised in reviewing the approved planning drawings along with the CCTV reports and Structural engineering drawings prior to construction, and advise on all matters related to UK building regulations including fire strategy and proposed build-ups for U-Value calculations to make sure the design is compliant. My role is to put together this technical package for the appointed Approved Inspector or Building Control Officer in order to acquire approval.I also advise our clients on matters related to Party wall and Build over agreement applications with the relevant local water authority in case of any works near public sewers.
