As a recent graduate from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a Bachelor's degree in Design and Visual Communications, I am passionate about creating impactful and engaging visual stories. I have developed a diverse set of skills in graphic design, motion graphics, typography, and illustration, as well as a keen eye for layout design and art direction.Currently, I am a part-time Art Director at B.A.D Corp (Brand Activation and Delivery), a Japanese advertising company. I am responsible for overseeing the production of deliverables such as illustrations, banners, and presentations. I also designed the company's brand/design guidelines. I also learned valuable lessons on working in an international environment and found solutions to work with people who speak a different language. Previously, I served as the Art Director at F Newsmagazine, a student-run publication covering art, culture, and politics. In this role, I managed, hired, and trained the design team, oversaw the layout and production of the magazine, and created original illustrations and graphics for both print and digital platforms. Additionally, I worked as a Social Media Manager, setting up and managing the magazine's social media accounts and creating engaging content for online audiences. I gained valuable experience as an Art Director Intern at Wunderman Thompson, a global advertising agency. During this internship, I participated in the entire demand generation process, from concept to execution, delivering high-quality designs for various clients and projects. These experiences have honed my communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, as well as my ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Eager to pursue new opportunities that challenge me and allow me to grow as a designer and leader, I am motivated by my curiosity, creativity, and desire to make a positive impact through design. I am confident I can bring my skills, expertise, and enthusiasm to any team or organization that values innovation, excellence, and diversity.
