I helped to transcribe and compile multiple oral history projects for a book that my professor is working on publishing. I also actively participated in literature review meetings.I assisted my professor in finding and translating academic articles concerning gender, imperialism/colonialism, and cultural translation in the context of 20th century China and Taiwan.

The lab focused on examining how socioeconomic status shapes perception of time and its consequence on decision making.I helped to compile, analyze, and review scholarly articles for literature review purposes and assisted various data collection procedures (including preparing questionnaires, visiting area schools, analyzing data, filing materials in appropriate locations).I received strong quantitative research training and demonstrated competence using statistical software such as SAS and R to conduct responsible data.
