I am a strategic communications and engagement expert and the Director of Prism Edge PR. My goal is helping businesses and individuals thrive!I have more than 20 years of experience working across Local, State and Federal Government organisations (including the health, education and community sectors) as well as working with SME businesses. I help organisations to plan well, communicate effectively, and manage complex change and transformation. I love working with people and organisations who really strive to make a positive impact in their communities. My skills are in strategic communications, change communications, coaching, community engagement/facilitation, professional writing, media, marketing, digital communications, social media content planning, corporate planning and crisis management. My qualifications include a Doctorate in Business Administration (Swinburne University) with a thesis on digital technology, e-government and strategic communications; a Master of Marketing (Monash University) focusing on marketing communications, consumer behaviour, marketing strategy and e-business; and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from RMIT. I won a Mainstreet Award for the What I Love About Stonnington campaign (economic development/marketing initiative) and have also won two gold awards for the Stonnington Annual Report (Australasian Reporting Awards). I have presented at the International Public Relations Conference in Barcelona, facilitated sessions on e-government and leadership, and presented at the 9th European Conference on Knowledge Management held in Southampton.Other interests:- I am passionate about sustainability and nature and have a small hobby farm in the Yarra Valley. - I have a Diploma in Viticulture and I am a licenced winemaker with a label 'Vinot Artisan' (www.vinotartisan.com.au).
