Selected to turnaround Lucent’s Government unit after a 2 year, 25% revenue decline. Recruited a new leadership team, established a new Government Ethics Office within the unit, established the Bell Labs Network Reliability and Security Office in D.C. and created a Government Advisory Board. Results: Over 3 years, Government Solutions revenue grew by 30% CAGR.

Recruited to turnaround world-wide sales for a technology company that had delivered $21B in 2001 revenue and was forecasting drastic revenue reductions. During this period, Lucent returned to profitability and Lucent's sales organization was added to Sales & Marketing magazines list of Top Sales Forces.

Recruited to provide strategic and operational leadership for this pre-IPO software start-up organization, including planning and implementing all operational functions, generating revenue growth and achieving profitability. Partnered with CEO to develop and complete a successful road show leading to the company’s IPO raising $85M. OPUS360 announced a merger with Artemis Management in April that closed in July 2001.
