I am a mission and results-oriented person with excellent interpersonal skills and strong professional ethics. My passions are NATIONAL SECURITY and FOREIGN AFFAIRS and more recently CYBER-SECURITY. I have spent 36 years supporting them as an active duty military officer both home and abroad as well as in the private sector. __________Strong Teams Tackle Difficult ProblemsI am a team player. A team that collaborates and stays focused on its objectives can solve challenging problems. Much of my success has come from bringing people of diverse mindsets together for a common objective. Good communications and problem-solving skills are essential in developing genuine understanding between people with varying viewpoints and cultures. It also takes leadership to keep the team focused, mentoring to help the team members grow and training to improve the collective skills of the team. Finally, the team has to have fun, or they will become stale.I began learning these skills with my very first military assignment in Germany and continued through graduate school at Harvard, the Korean Army Staff College, my time in Eastern Europe, and every company I had the honor to work with since moving to industry.__________We work until the job is done. If my team works late, so do I. If a team member needs assistance, I’ll get it to them or roll up my sleeves and help them myself. Whether working in corporate operations, program management, or business development, I love to deliver compelling messages to our team, partners and customers. I also like to travel. While I love working with my coworkers, I love my family and friends, too. So, when the work is done, I like to spend time with my family and friends.
