Communications & Tourism Director The Powell Economic Partnership oversees management of the Powell Chamber and the Powell Visitor Center. The Communications & Tourism Director is responsible for advertising Powell, Wyoming as a destination with regional and national traditional media and digital platforms. The Communications and Tourism Director is also responsible for marketing PEP/ Powell Chamber/ Powell Visitor Center programs across all social, video, email marketing, organic and paid regional media. The Communications and Tourism Director works to improve the visitor experience in Powell, Wyoming. This is done by creating and working with local attractions, activities, retailers, and restaurants. Community Relations ManagerThe Powell Economic Partnership oversees management of the Powell Chamber and the Powell Visitor Center. The Community Relations Manager maintains positive relationships with community members, nonprofits and stakeholders to cultivates a favorable business climate for Powell, Wyoming. This is done by developing a strategy to make positive contributions to the Powell Valley and raising awareness of our area.

Powell Economic Partnership (PEP) is unique to our region. We are one organization with our focus on three functions: economic development, community vibrancy, and tourism. PEP manages the Powell Chamber and Powell Visitor Center. As the Visitor Center Coordinator for the Powell Visitor Center, I champion Powell to visitors and residents by distributing information about Yellowstone, the Big Horn Basin, special events and host agricultural tours. As Multimedia Marketing Manager I created and oversaw Crews Control’s social networking accounts. This included developing company protocols for all the social networking sites that Crews Control participates in as well as drafting the parameters for employee participation. I also edited Crews Control’s blog, created and managed the content calendar, wrote at least two articles a month, edited all blog articles, managed staff and contributing bloggers, consulted with SEO and web developers to optimize our website. I was also in charge of creating, producing, writing, and hosting two video podcast channels Information Overdrive and Tech Minute. In addition I created and maintained a database of technical specs for all of Crews Control’s represented crews worldwide. I also represented Crews Control at trade shows such a NAB, InfoComm, RealScreen Summit and professional development organizations that included ANA among others.

As Production Manager I was in charge of approximately 1,500 accounts. My duties included managing and scheduling hundreds of on-location shoots a year for corporations, broadcast, cable, production companies, advertising agencies, PR firms, government, and non-profits agencies. I was also in charge of creating, producing, writing, and hosting our company video podcast Information Overdrive. In addition I maintained a database of technical specs for all of Crews Control’s represented crews worldwide.
