I’m excited by finding, designing and building connections and processes to help people work together more effectively. I use a range of tools and approaches to encourage good communication and facilitate collaboration at small and large scales – within organisations to create successful teams; between organisations and their stakeholders to deliver key projects; and across sectors to achieve collective impact. I have a background in ecosystem research and policy, and have worked across university, state government and NGO contexts. Thanks to this, I have diverse and strong networks across the ecosystem science and management communities in Australia. I enjoy the opportunities I have to connect my passion and interest in science and the environment with my passion for working with people.I keep an active involvement with a range of non-profit groups addressing community, social justice and human rights issues within Australia and overseas. This work offers me a different range of opportunities to develop and apply my communication, problem solving and leadership skills, and is an important source of grounding and motivation.
