𝗛𝗲𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲! I'm Bek, and this is my LinkedIn bio 😲 I've been a digital marketer for the past 14 years and a story teller since the age of about 6. In 2014 I started my own business 𝘉𝘦𝘒𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘔𝘢𝘳𝘬𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 which is a marketing communications studio based in Brisbane. Throughout my career, I've always been drawn more to the 'creative' side of marketing - branding, storytelling, communications, messaging, and copywriting are the parts of marketing that excite me the most. I'm also a big believer in building relationships not sales - I'm all about building strong, loyal audiences who will support your brand through thick and thin. My love of list making and knowledge sharing lends itself well to running a business - I work with a lot of recent (or soon-to-be) graduates and I love the training and teaching aspects of my role. I get a lot of joy from this part of my job, and it is what motivates me to continue growing my business. The teaching / training element of my role flows through to BeKonstructive's product offering as well; we work closely with Small Business Owners to help them grow their businesses. Sometimes this means doing the work for them but sometimes it means training and guiding them through the process, giving them the tools and skills that they need to manage their own content marketing efforts. I'm also q̶u̶i̶t̶e̶ very passionate about gender equality and creating more roles for women, particularly in areas like management and strategy 😁 I enjoy being a part of communities and networks that are designed to inspire and elevate women who are doing cool and disruptive stuff in the business world 👈 their inspirational stories motivate me to keep writing my own story.
