I am an assistant professor and an antenna researcher. I enjoy teaching and love applied research. I also run a consultancy and training firm (CITCoT iCT Consulting PLC). I am open to potential challenging career opportunities both in the industry and academia.▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬During a Ph.D. program in University of Trento, Italy, I researched on Metamaterials, Transformation Optics, Antennas and Array Synthesis, design of field manipulating devices like Polarizers. I have also dealt with Evolutionary Optimization Techniques and Bayesian Compressive Sensing. Most of all, I have become a good researcher capable of working individually and in a collaborative group.▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬I have an M.Sc. in Telecommunications Engineering which focuses on wireless and cellular communication. A special focus was given to antennas; and the topic of the thesis was design of Time Modulated Antennas for MIMO systems.▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬Thanks to the five years I spent as a B.Sc. student in Electrical Engineering, I have a strong background in Applied Mathematics, Electrical Signals, Electronics, Fundamentals of Communication and Control as well as Computer Architecture and Programming.▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬In summary, I have strong affection for antennas and their electromagnetic relatives, I enjoy mathematical modeling and computer programming applied to real world problem solving.
