I am a graduate with MSc. degree in Planning/Local Economic Development, a BA degree in Economics and a Diploma in Accounting. I am also a Prince 2 project management practitioner, SFEDI accredited Business adviser, member of Institute of Business Consulting, Institute of Economic Development, Institute of Leadership & Management, Institute of Customer Service and New Economic Foundation. Recently, I have archived A1 Assessors Award and ILM level 5 Award in Social Enterprise Support. I am still on training and expected to achieve shortly Certified Management Consultants Award, Certificate in Lead Internal Verifier qualification and Diploma in Coaching & Mentoring and Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. At the moment, I am serving HCD as a Programme Manger and Business Advisor from September 2005 to present and managed business advice and support services of ERDF, NRF, City of London, Phoenix and LDA funded regeneration projects all of which completed within time and budget exceeding contracted targets. During this period I have engaged with more than 500 businesses and provided advice in the areas of procurement, quality standards, finance raising, ecommerce, mentoring and strategic/business/marketing plans. I was responsible for tenant survey, staff training and development plan and quality standards and also participated in a number of partnerships including Hackney European Partnership and Hackney Enterprise Network. I also have established Gateway Multi Service Consultancy in 2004 and runs since as a director and delivered business consulting services including Access To Finance, Train to Gain, Leadership & Management Programme and environmental audit projects.
