The Exchange Creative Community is a community business that uses the arts and creativity in its approach to improve and inspire wellbeing, learning and enterprise.We have developed plans with our community to transform a 20year derelict former department store into a creative enterprise hub serving the district as a vibrant community asset. Hosting a cafe, gallery, gift shop, co-working, private business space and a fully equipped studio in addition to a diverse range of projects, programmes & events. Increasingly we understand our role as instigators of change and locally rooted leaders of strategic initiatives that aim to improve wider opportunities for community-led regeneration, economic development and enterprise in our town.

Background in initiating artist-led projects from conception through to delivery. Including festivals, events, galleries and exhibitions usually in unconventional spaces, building new audiences.Experience of working with diverse partners across sectors to create meaningful projects and commissions.Creative skills and practice:Painting, Graphic Design, Sculpture & Installation, Concept Driven Work, Illustration, Video, Photography, Workshop Design and Facilitation.
