About Beki Stark
I am a qualified finance professional with twenty-five years’ experience leading and managing finance teams, transforming processes and culture and implementing improvements primarily in the Higher Education (Charity) Sector. With a particular interest in governance and risk management, my background as a big-four auditor has underpinned the successful delivery of a wide variety of projects including new software implementation and major technical accounting changes. However, it is the transformation of the university’s finance department into a proactive, customer-oriented, well-trained and fully professional service unit dedicated to meeting the needs of our students, staff and stakeholders of which I’m most proud.Latterly I’ve been focussed on replacing the University's current finance system with Oracle Fusion which I hope will allow the University' Finance department to continue to provide excellent financial services and support to our academic community whilst leveraging efficiencies from a cloud-based and more technically advanced system.
