Combined aero-mechanical analysis of stages using FE tools.Assist in compressor wheel mechanical testing (LCF, HCF). Responsibility for entire process of mechanical scaling of new aerodynamic wheel designs to different sizes.Execute a development plan established with the Component Manager, in a timely manner. Coordinate development / qualification of new materials, and new manufacturing techniques, and new suppliers. Team with Materials & Structure fundamental to identify and deliver process or material improvements to drive industry leading delivery of new aero solutions. Work with Product Line teams and Program Managers to keep internal customers updated on project status. Coordinate activities with other aero component engineers to take advantage of specialization where appropriate.
