Managed a small department responsible for the full IT stack of an organizational unit and helped shape its IT Strategy.Dept. responsibilities on a high level were:- IT project management in case of new system implementations - IT Operations/Support of department specific core applications- IT Operations/Support of department specific network components (computer network and telephony hardware)- Development coordination of core applications and continuous improvement of internally developed tools- On-site IT support- Escalation to specific teams on a corporate level in case of centrally managed systems- Procurement of new hardware/software for the organizational unit.

Interim manager role- Managing a 60+ person IT Service Desk responsible for 1st level support of European Stores. - Managing the Hungarian Customer Service Center.These assignments were for 3.5 months, until a new service desk manager was recruited and trained.

The On-Site IT Operations team was in strong connection with L1 service desk, L2 desktop support, L2 Application support and L3 vendor teams supporting several sites in Europe including the Shared Service Center in Hungary (having about 1300 users on site in Budapest at the time).My responsibilities included:- Creation of an IT Operations Framework containing a service catalogue, RACI matrixes for a) incident management and b) service request fulfillment following ITIL v3 principles.- IT Program Management for Commercial Operations keeping all IT related initiatives in alignment with the commercial strategy.- Establishing a virtual team for reporting purposes (adding back up solutions to Commercial Operations' reporting processes) to reduce operational risk.Day to day Operations:- Alongside the European IT Operations Lead I was also responsible for managing the activities of the onsite team, assigning responsibilities, and setting priorities for the team members while managing the relationship between IT and several business function leaders.
