-Preparing financial and accounting reports (Balance sheet, Income statement, Projects P&L, payables and recievables aging, etc.- Following up monthly closing and related adjustments and making sure that all accounting transactions were entered in the system such as (revenues and expenses entries, bank reconciliation, prepaid & accrued expenses, related parties accounts, depreciation of fixed assets, employees EOS & leave balance, etc.).- Follow up VAT report- Follow up ERP system adjustments which meets the requested financial reports.- Verifying all accounting transactions before posting.- Follow up with external auditors and provide the required documents and reports.- Checking the chart of accounts to match the auditor's report.

Month-end & Year-end Closing Responsibilities:- Perform month-end and year-end closing Activities (reporting and Analysis) as per policies and procedures in accordance Generally accepted accounts principles.- Maintain control of the following areas: general ledger, accounts payable, expense reports & billing.- Sub-ledger vs GL reconciliation, Monthly Intercompany & Bank reconciliation-Fixed Assets Management.-Landed cost for Inventory Items./Inventory Count, Inventory reconciliation/Inventory Valuation

-Release subcontractor’s payments as per work completion certificate and follow up the advance payment amortization.-Prepare claims ”payment request” as per project progress as agreed with main contractor.-Monitoring and keeping up to date records of bank guarantees submitted by subcontractors.-Preparing financial reports by compiling information, preparing income statement and balance sheet.-Process Employee’s payroll/Employee’s Leave settlements/Final Settlements for Resigned/Cancelled employees.-Coordinate with bank for L/C (letter of credit) issuance, bank guarantee, overdraft facilities.-Liaise with external auditors; implement recommendations if any; take corrective action wherever required.
