About Mathew Belcher Oam
Mathew has been in the Olympic sailing scene since 2000. The three time Olympic medalist (Gold 12',Silver 16', Gold 21’). Mathew is a ten times World champion and 2013 World Sailor of the Year has dedicated over 20 years in the pursuit of Olympic success. Mathew also has a strong interest in the property field having completed a double masters in the industry whilst meeting his training and competition commitments. When Mathew is not on the water training or competing, he spends his time at home on the Gold Coast with his family Rike and three kids. His wife is also an Olympic athlete who competed for Germany at the London 2012 Olympics in the 470W and made the Olympic final to finish in 8th position. It was a dream come true for Mathew and Rike to participate at the same Olympics together.
