As an artist and writer I root my practice in image perception and the collective experience of (reading) spaces. My work includes graphic novels, art books, drawings, essays and installations. I've been awarded under the Global Arts Fund of the Astraea Lesbian Foundation for Justice, and am the recipient of the 2022 Herzog August Bibliothek Artists’ Book Prize Fellow. My books are collected privately and by institutions, including three national libraries - the US Library of Congress, Deutsche Nationalbibliothek and KB nationale bibliotheek van Nederland. I live and work in Amsterdam and New York.

Co-founder and editor of Cypher, a digital comics magazine that advances the organization’s storytelling and narrative framing work in collaboration with and in support of Human Rights Defenders.
