The CSAI Foundation is a state public sector institution of general interest in the field of health, social services, child protection and the promotion of equality, both in Spain and in third countries, with more than twenty years of experience in the sector. The Minister of Health holds the Presidency of the CSAI Foundation, and its Board of Trustees is made up of members belonging to five portfolios: Health; Presidency; Social Services and Agenda 2030; Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation; and Science and Innovation.As coordinator of the EU LAC Health Alliance, my responsibilities are the construction of the TEI UE-LAC Health with the backing of the EC and the support of other member states, through the planning and coordination of a joint programming of activities and initiatives in international cooperation in the field of global health, with the leadership of AECID, and the intergovernmental support of the institutions in Spain.
