Together with Anne Skjelborg (in 2017) and Susanne Søes Hejlsvig (in 2016), I coordinated the Speakers selection/coaching team for TEDxAarhus, in charge of (1) making the program of the event, (2) selecting, coaching and training the speakers that perform at TEDxAarhus.

-Project 1: I am involved in the genetic study of the Danish population of Atlantic salmon (Salmo salar). The objective is to analyse the evolution of the population since 1920's to nowadays and how the different conservation strategies to manage the population have impacted their genetic diversity throughout the years.-Project 2: I am working on the genomic analysis of the ancient population of cod in Iceland.-Project 3: I am involved in the genomic study of tiger shark and white shark.

I am interested in the study of the effective population size, a parameter that measures how fast a population is losing genetic diversity. The project involved the development of bioinformatics & genetics skills: programming languages (Python, R), LINUX operating system, population genetics, analysis of genomic data.The project has been jointly supervised by Aarhus University (BioInformatics Research Center, BiRC), AgroParisTech and INRA Animal Genetics within the Erasmus Mundus EGS-ABG (European Graduate School in Animal Breeding and Genetics).

Together with Andrea Klassen, we co-founded and co-organized the first TEDx conference ever in Aarhus. We recruited and coordinated a team of 8 core volunteer members + 15 other volunteers. Within this CITIUS scholarship, I assisted in the revision of marketing material, organization and review of clinic studies, review of procedures, revision of scientific information, data management and development of presentations.
