I have been a teacher at LWS since 1998. In that time I have held a range of posts and have continued my education to Masters level. I have been: Head of French, Assistant Head of Sixth Form, Acting Head of German and since 2012, Head of Faculty. I have succeeded in gaining my Post Graduate Diploma in Educational Studies and a Masters of Science in Applied Linguistics and Second Language Acquisition. I did these courses part-time, alongside my full-time work. For five years I was seconded to the Department of Educational Studies at the University of Oxford, where I was a curriculum tutor on the MFL PGCE. I have also co-authored a guide for MFL teaching and had my research paper published in the ALL Francophonie journal. This research was the result of gaining a BPRS scholarship for three years, which helped fund my Masters.
